Stones of Gilgal Inner Memory
Joshua 4:19-23 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Israel crosses the Jordan and encamps at Gilgal, setting twelve stones as a memorial. These stones speak to future generations about the crossing and God's drying of the Jordan just as He did the Red Sea.
Neville's Inner Vision
The crossing is a state of consciousness, not a map. The Jordan represents the flow of circumstances, and dry ground is the I AM that renders the impossible possible. The twelve stones are inner anchors, memorials you can return to in imagination to remind yourself of your own passage. When future generations ask, you answer by living the truth: Israel came over this Jordan on dry land because the Lord your God dried the waters before you. This is a covenant of presence: God is not distant, but the I AM within you, guiding you through every change as He did at the Red Sea. To practice, dwell in the feeling that you have already crossed, and let the awareness of Gilgal settle as your current reality.
Practice This Now
Hold an inner 'stone' in awareness and say, 'I have crossed this Jordan.' Then dwell in the feeling of Gilgal until the sense of inevitability becomes your present reality.
