Joshua 22:13-15

Biblical Context

Israel sends Phinehas and ten princes to Reuben, Gad, and the half-tribe of Manasseh in the land of Gilead, speaking to unify the people and reaffirm the covenant.

Neville's Inner Vision

Imagine the children of Israel as states of consciousness moving toward one end. The land of Gilead is not a geographic place here, but an inner terrain where your desires begin to embody themselves. Phinehas, the son of Eleazar the priest, is the living I AM—the spiritual authority within you that chooses alignment over doubt. The ten princes, each chief of a family, represent ten faculties of mind—faith, courage, love, judgment, imagination, will, perception, memory, desire, and gratitude—rulers awaiting your call. When you sense division—old loyalties clinging to separate identities—you send these delegates inward to Reuben, Gad, and Manasseh in the interior land, not to overpower but to negotiate. Their mission is to reaffirm the covenant you hold with yourself: that you are one in God, one in purpose, one in consciousness. As the dialogue unfolds, a new order emerges: unity replaces suspicion, coherence replaces fragmentation, and the people of your inner land stand united under the I AM that you are. This is how Israel enters the promised land, within.

Practice This Now

Step into this moment now: close your eyes, assume you are the I AM, and declare quietly, 'I am unity.' Imagine Phinehas and the ten princes entering your inner land and speaking, revealing the oneness of all parts. Feel the feeling of wholeness as if it is already so.
