Neville's Inner Vision
Within the psalm of Joshua, you are invited to see that the 'land' and its walls are not far-off geography but your own states of consciousness. The two men are not outsiders but the twin faculties of awareness and imagination that Joshua has released into your inner terrain to view what is already present in consciousness. Jericho's walls symbolize your stubborn outer conditions. Rahab's house—the place of a humble, receptive belief—shows where faith can hide, be nourished, and rewarded. Rahab herself becomes a symbol of trust awakened in you; because she dares to acknowledge the unseen victory, her faith becomes the instrument by which the inner spies gain safe passage. The obedience and fidelity belong to your I AM: the decision to align inner perception with divine law, not with fear. When you perceive as if the desired outcome is already given, you shift the landscape from fear to covenant loyalty. The wall of Jericho dissolves as your inner distractions yield to the certainty that you are never separate from the Source of all supply.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes. Assume you are the inner Joshua, surveying your life with the I AM as witness, believing the land is already yours.
