Biblical Context
The verse describes a southern boundary extending from Kirjathjearim toward the west and reaching the well of Nephtoah.
Neville's Inner Vision
To the reader of this scripture, the map is not land but state of consciousness. The south quarter is a portion of your inner life, traced from a fixed center—the place you call home in faith—out toward the west, toward the source that feeds every moving part of your being. Kirjathjearim stands for a settled posture of loyalty in your mind; Nephtoah's well is the living water you draw from when you dare to be aware. The border west is not conquest but an invitation to widen the horizon of awareness, to allow the I AM—God within you—to flow beyond outdated beliefs and habits. As you dwell in this inner topography, you discover that the entire territory of your experience is created by your perception; Providence and guidance arise as you maintain the boundary and drink from the well. This is covenant loyalty enacted inwardly: you claim the Kingdom not as distant promise but as arising from the I AM here and now, within the line that you consciously redraw.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes; stand at the southern boundary of your inner land and turn west toward Nephtoah's well; drink the living water and affirm, I AM the source of this land and its life. Feel the boundary dissolve as you dwell in the feeling of the wish fulfilled.
