Inner Borders of Judah
Joshua 15:5-12 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Joshua 15 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
It lists the borders of Judah, from the Salt Sea east of the Jordan to the western sea, with northern and southern markers described along the hills and valleys. The map emphasizes covenant boundaries and lineage as the framework of possession.
Neville's Inner Vision
Think of these lines as a map of your inner territory. The east, north, and west borders do not lie on land but in your own states of consciousness. The Salt Sea to the east is the living memory and the tide of experience, and Jordan marks the threshold you pass when you decide what you will identify with as I AM. Each boundary—north from the bay of the sea, the ascent toward Debir, the valley of Achor, the hill of Nephtoah—represents a movement of attention, a choice of allegiance. To possess the land is to settle into a continuous assurance that you are the owner of your inner Jerusalem: your covenant loyalty to the I AM, your fidelity to family and integrity, is the boundary that keeps fear and doubt from encroaching. As you align your feeling with the truth that you are the Kingdom within, the geography of your life rearranges itself accordingly. The borders you hold steady become your full inheritance, and the nation within steps forth into visible reality.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume the I AM as your permanent identity. Draw a boundary around your inner field and feel the Kingdom already within you expanding into your life.
