Joshua 12:24 lists the king of Tirzah among thirty-one kings conquered by Israel.
Neville's Inner Vision
Remember, the land is your awareness; the kings are the patterns of belief you have allowed to rule your inner field. The line 'the king of Tirzah, one: all the kings thirty and one' teaches that every external circumstance you call 'king' is but a single division in consciousness, a tenant in your inner palace. When you assume the feeling of the conqueror—God within, the I AM that you are—these thirty-one kings bow to your crown. Tirzah, a name representing beauty and fortified position, stands for a fixed, defended aspect of mind you have mistaken for reality. Yet in the deeper you, these kings are only figures of a dream, counted and dismissed by the unwavering awareness. The day you enact the inner revision, you shift the state, and the external signs align to match the inner dominion. The 'one king' is the one state you inhabit, and by feeling as if it is done, you have already ruled over all appearances.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and repeat, 'I am the king of my inner kingdom,' then dwell in the feeling of complete dominion for several minutes, allowing that state to feel real in your body and breath.
