Inner Honor, Divine Knowing
John 8:54-55 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Jesus teaches that honor comes from the Father, not from self-glory, and true knowledge of God comes from knowing Him and keeping His words.
Neville's Inner Vision
Jesus points to the inner law by which you are honored: not by external self-praise, but by the Father within—the I AM that you truly are. When you declare, 'I know Him and keep His saying,' you are not boasting; you are aligning your consciousness with the living pattern that sustains all things. The Father, your own I AM, honors you as you cease seeking applause and instead live from the knowledge that obedience to the truth is your true confidence. To know God is to let His word govern your feelings, decisions, and desires; to keep His saying is to keep your life in harmony with the divine order. In practice, revision and feeling-it-real place you in the state where you already possess honor because you are one with the Source. The outward appearance of honor follows from this inner alignment, not from your image of yourself.
Practice This Now
In a quiet moment, revise any insistence on self-honor by affirming: 'The Father within honors me; I know Him and keep His word.' Feel the truth as a living state in your chest until it hums through your whole being.
