Secret Entry and Rumors
John 7:10-13 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read John 7 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Jesus goes up to the feast quietly, not openly. The crowd murmurs, some call him good while others accuse him, and fear keeps people from speaking openly.
Neville's Inner Vision
Observe that the feast is not a place but a state of consciousness. When the brethren climb by outward permission and you enter privately, you are choosing a different visitation: you enter the inner temple where I AM awareness already resides. The murmuring of the crowd represents the scattered thoughts about yourself—whether you are good, or whether you deceive. The fear of the Jews is the fear of social judgment within your own heart. No one speaks openly because you have not yet spoken within; you have not allowed the inner truth to declare itself in outward action. In Neville fashion, realize that the true entry is not overt conspiring with men, but a secret knowing that you are already accepted in the sight of your own I AM. When you align with that inner yes, the outward voice of ‘some say’ collapses, and your behavior becomes natural, fearless, luminous, as if you were in the feast from the inside out.
Practice This Now
Assume the state of the secret entrant now: close your eyes, declare, I enter my feast unseen by outward rumor, because I am the I AM. Then feel the quiet confidence as if you are already observed by inner authority.
