Inner Judgment: Honoring the Son Within

John 5:22-23 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read John 5 in context

Scripture Focus

22For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:
23That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.
John 5:22-23

Biblical Context

The Father judges no one; judgment is given to the Son. To honor the Son is to honor the Father.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within this passage the Father is your I AM, the Self that perceives. There is no external judge; judgment is an inner act, ordained to the Son—the living idea you awaken by conscious attention. When you honor the Son, you acknowledge the inner Word that governs your experience and, through that acknowledgment, you honor the Father who sent that Word into your awareness. If you deny the Son, you deny the Source and undermine the authority by which your world is created. The so-called judgment you fear is really the memory of limitation arising from resisting your inner state, not a distant court. By enthroning the Son, you enthrone the truth that your happenings follow from your inner state of being. The Son is a principle—awareness in action, not a man. Your task is to align with that inner state and feel as if you already live under its authority. Revise any sense of separation; assume you are the Son within, and let the I AM judge with mercy and clarity, shaping your life from the inside out.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes. Declare, I AM the Son within; revise any sense of external judgment and feel your life align with that inner truth as present reality.
