Neville's Inner Vision

In the Neville Goddard style, the Father represents the I AM, the unchanging awareness in which you exist. The "dead" are states of consciousness that have lost vitality or identity. When the Father "raises" them, you awaken to life by turning your attention to the truth of being. The Son is the living, imaginative activity within you that breathes vitality into your desires; when the Son "quickens whom He will," you determine which state of consciousness receives life—your most intense assumptions, your most heartfelt imaginations. The verse teaches that life is not assigned from without, but drawn forth from within by alignment of awareness with its desired state. Your responsibility is to assume the feeling of already being alive, whole, and active in the situation you seek. In this way, the Father’s power works through the inner self to awaken the state you inhabit; the outer scene follows as your inner state becomes your visible reality. Do not chase external signs; rest in the certainty that your I AM is alive now and this life is already yours as you entertain it.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and dwell in the feeling of being alive now. Imagine one concrete scene that proves life is restored, and hold the certainty until it lingers.
