Inner Wine, Outer Providence
John 2:8-10 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
John 2:8-10 shows servants drawing water that becomes wine and the ruler recognizing the good that has arrived. It signals that outward events mirror a shifting inner state of consciousness and Providence.
Neville's Inner Vision
I call the water of common circumstances by its true name: possibility. In the stillness of my I AM, that water is pressed by imagination until it becomes wine—the fulfilled state I accept and celebrate. The miracle in John 2 is not an event 'out there' but a shift in inner state: once I claim the source as Present, the external scene must bow to the inner harvest. The servants, who drew the water, know whence the wine came; so do I know that every demand I meet in prayer is a measurement of my own consciousness. The governor’s compliment—that the good wine has been kept until now—signals the law that under grace, the best of me is reserved until I am truly aware of it. I need not chase results; I rest in the assurance that my consciousness, not time, fabricates form.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: In the next few minutes, close your eyes and assume the feeling of your wish fulfilled; declare softly, 'I AM the source of all provision.' Then visualize drawing the wine from your inner reservoir and pouring it into the governor's cup, knowing the outer scene answers to your inner state.
