Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Jesus speaks to the Father, declaring that the hour has come and asking to glorify the Son so the Son may glorify the Father. He also states that God has given the Son power over all flesh to grant eternal life.
Neville's Inner Vision
To the Neville reader, the hour Jesus speaks of is the moment you awaken to the I AM that you really are. When you acknowledge the Father and invite the Son to be glorified, you are not appealing to an outside deity; you are turning your own awareness toward its true radiance. The Son glorifying the Father means your life is seen as the expression of God, your thoughts and feelings acting in harmony with the Source. The Father has given the Son power over all flesh becomes a statement of inner mastery—the ability to govern appearances by the unwavering conviction that life is one with God. Eternal life is not a future prize but the living presence of God in this moment, felt as you align with the I AM. As you assume this truth and feel it real, the state of eternal life floods your cells, your mind, your world. The inner Son in you is the channel through which this life is expressed; your task is to remain attentive to the feeling that you are life eternal now, here and now.
Practice This Now
Imaginative Act: Assume the state of the I AM already glorifying the Father; breathe in and feel, 'I am life eternal now,' then dwell in that felt reality until it colors your every thought and sensation.
