Inner Comforter Unfolding

John 15:26-27 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read John 15 in context

Scripture Focus

26But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:
27And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning.
John 15:26-27

Biblical Context

John 15:26-27 speaks of the Comforter, the Spirit of truth from the Father, testifying of Jesus, and of the disciples bearing witness because they have walked with Him from the beginning.

Neville's Inner Vision

Think of the Comforter not as a distant envoy, but as the very breath of your awareness—the Spirit of truth that proceeds from the Father and resides as your I AM. When you still the mind, this inner Presence testifies of Christ within you, not as memory of a man, but as the living reality you are now aware of. The phrase 'testify of me' becomes your daily experience: your thoughts and feelings adjust to the truth you already know, and your life begins to mirror the Master you are with from the beginning. 'Ye also shall bear witness' is not an instruction to seek validation outside, but a reminder that your consciousness is the witness itself. You have never left the Presence; you have only forgotten its native language. By assuming the state of the witness, you revise the mistaken sense of separation and allow the inner testimony to rise as vivid reality, inviting others to witness the same truth within themselves.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, assume the state: 'I am the witness of Truth within me.' Feel the Comforter speaking through you in this moment and let your bearing witness expand into your daily life.
