Present With You: Inner Words of Assurance

John 14:25 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read John 14 in context

Scripture Focus

25These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.
John 14:25

Biblical Context

Jesus speaks these things while he remains present with the disciples, offering guidance in his ongoing, intimate presence.

Neville's Inner Vision

Think of these words not as distant sermons but as the vibrations of your own I AM. These things are the teachings already folded into your consciousness, ready to be recalled whenever you turn your attention inward. Being yet present with you signifies that the inner presence—the God I AM in you—is always in communion with your mind. The spoken portion is less about history and more about your state of awareness; truth feels faithful to the state you are inhabiting. When you acknowledge that the teacher and the taught are one in your inner life, you invite wisdom and discernment to arise from within, not from outside sources. The practice is to assume that you are currently within the company of this inner voice, and to revise your sense of distance until you feel the words living and acting as your present understanding. Your task is to hold that presence steady and let the words you heard become the soil in which your present decisions grow.

Practice This Now

Practice: sit quietly and repeat the verse as if spoken to you now; revise it into present-tense: These things are spoken to me now, by the I AM within. Then feel the assurance as real.
