Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
After the sop, Judas is overtaken by a malevolent influence, and Jesus commands him to do quickly. This shows an inner warfare between lower impulses and faithful action.
Neville's Inner Vision
John 13:27 presents not a historical moment but a doorway into your own consciousness. 'Satan' is a name for a state of consciousness that seeks self-interest and separation; when it 'entered' Judas, it simply found a ready house in a previous belief—fear, desire, and the habit of doubt. Jesus' words, 'that thou doest, do quickly,' are not a command to Judas alone but a directive of the inner I AM urging the birth of your next act from the state you already imagine. If you identify with the fear, you will hurry into action that betrays your truth; if you identify with the higher state—Your I AM—you will feel the impulse to move in harmony with love and the inner law. The scene thus becomes a mirror for spiritual warfare: you are constantly at the threshold where the lower mind can seize the moment or the higher self can dictate intention. Your task is to close your eyes, shift your feeling to the I AM, and revise the scene so that the next act flows from trust and unity with your highest state.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume the I AM now; let any 'Satan' impulse in you be seen as a belief, not you. Revise by affirming, 'I act now from the I AM, in love and truth, and the next move aligns with my highest good.'
