John 11:1-2

Biblical Context

Lazarus, Mary, and Martha are presented as inner states within the heart; sickness signals a belief in separation, and their relationships hint at healing and devotion that follow.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within this scene, Bethany is the inner city of your consciousness, where the sense of life resides. Lazarus, the one named, is the state of sickness—a belief that you are separate from the I AM, a condition waiting to be called forth. Mary and Martha are not literal relatives but two currents of consciousness: Mary, the drying oil of devotion that anoints, and Martha, the practical energy that serves; together they prepare the ground for the greater visitation of the Word within. When you identify with the sick state, you are listening to the appearance of lack; when you shift, you awaken the Mary who cleanses with love and the Martha who acts with service, aligning intention with reality. The healing is not a separate event but an unveiling of what you already are in the I AM. Jesus, the wisdom that speaks within, simply calls the true state forth; the body follows in the cadence of your conviction.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Close your eyes, assume the feeling of I AM health and revise Lazarus as your present inner state. See Mary and Martha ministering to that state and whisper Lazarus, come forth, until restoration feels real.
