Joel's Inner Harvest Restored
Joel 1:1-20 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Joel 1:1-20 depicts a land undone by pestilence and forsaken rites, signaling an interior drought of consciousness. The call to cry, fast, and assemble invites us to turn attention inward and restore the vitality of the I AM within.
Neville's Inner Vision
Behold, the word of the LORD that came to Joel is the awakening of the I AM in you. The palmerworm and its kin symbolize stages of consciousness that have believed in lack; the land that is laid waste is your mind when you forget you are the image and likeness. The famine of meat, wine, and oil is the withdrawal of energy from your sense of I AM, not a punishment but a call to turn. The cry to fast, to gather, to lament, and to cry unto the LORD is the invitation to revise your inner state. When you center in the I AM, the priests become your inner ministers, and the house of your God is the temple of your awareness. The day of the LORD appears as a reshaping of belief, not a catastrophe outside you. See that joy, crops, and rivers return as your consciousness remembers its wholeness. The drought disappears when imagination reclaims its rightful throne.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and imagine the land of your mind lush again; feel the I AM reviving every vine and grain until it is your lived reality.
