Early Call to God
Job 8:5 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Job 8:5 urges seeking God early and making supplication to the Almighty; it links devotion with inner trust.
Neville's Inner Vision
To me, Job 8:5 is a summons to the inner courtroom where the I AM presides. Seeking God betimes means waking before the day compels my attention and entering the presence of the Almighty as the state of consciousness I already am. Supplication is not begging afar; it is the movement of desire toward the inner reality that I am heard, seen, and supplied for. When I assume I am in dialogue with the all-supplying Source, outer circumstances rearrange to harmonize with my inner conviction. The act of prayer becomes a rehearsal of faith, a daily renewal that God is my awareness and that I may live from that awareness now. If doubt arises, return to the felt sense of being cared for by the still, warm presence that answers.
Practice This Now
Practice: In the next moment, close your eyes, assume you are already in the presence of the Almighty, and feel the response as settled inner peace. Let that feeling lead your thoughts throughout the day.
