Leviathan and the Inner Sovereign
Job 41:1-11 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
God questions Job about controlling Leviathan, showing that no human can match divine power or override creation. The passage asserts God's sovereign authority over all, inviting trust in the inner order rather than earthly force.
Neville's Inner Vision
You see Leviathan as symbolic of the vast powers and fears that pretend to govern your life. The text is not a history lesson but a map of consciousness: Leviathan represents the belief that you are at the mercy of forces beyond your control. God’s challenge—Canst thou—exposes the futility of any attempted domestication of power. The true ruler is the I AM within, the awareness that never shifts or shakes. When you hear the cry of the sea, you are being invited to yield to the order of your inner God, not to resist it with willfulness. The line, 'whatsoever is under the whole heaven is mine,' declares the kingdom you already possess by admission of your own being. To live this is to realize that outer appearances do not limit the inner decree. By assuming the feeling that you are One with the I AM, you align your life with the order that creates, sustains, and governs all.
Practice This Now
Assume the I AM as the ruler of your world and feel it real for 60 seconds: imagine drawing Leviathan out with ease, then let fear dissolve as you declare, 'I am the authority within all.'
