Breath of God's Presence
Job 27:3-4 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Job 27 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The passage affirms that life-breath and the Spirit of God dwell within, and that the speaker will not utter wickedness or deceit. It presents inner divine presence as the source of truthful speech.
Neville's Inner Vision
Breath is not mere air; it is the I AM within you, the living proof that God is present now. The spirit of God in your nostrils is your constant invitation to remember you are consciousness, not a separate body. When you acknowledge that presence, your lips and tongue become instruments of the inner decree you hold: truth, not deceit. The verse directs you to separate speech from wickedness by remaining aligned with that inner Presence. The practice is simple: assume the reality of God in you until it feels real, and internally declare, Only the I AM speaks through me now. As you revise your inner state to that conclusion, your thoughts and words follow, and deceit loses its grip. Life, breath, holiness, and truth are a single living process; you are built to speak in harmony with God-consciousness. Let the breath certify Presence, and let your words bear witness to it. When you live from that inner state, outward events become the form your inner Reality takes.
Practice This Now
Imaginative practice: close your eyes, breathe deeply, and declare internally, Only the I AM speaks through me now. Feel the breath as God within and let truthful speech flow from that state.
