Job 22:20-30 Inner Covenant
Job 22:20-30 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Job 22 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The passage invites you to acquaint yourself with the divine I AM, return to the Almighty, and store divine law in your heart, so your life may reflect light, protection, and blessing.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within this counsel, Job is not pleading with an external deity but guiding you to awaken to the I AM inside. Your substance is your consciousness; when you acquaint yourself with the I AM, you enter a state of peace that dissolves fear and lack. The law from His mouth becomes inner statutes you store in the heart; you revise your assumptions until what you desire becomes your present fact. If you return to the Almighty, you are rebuilt; you lay away old self-doubt as you lay up gold as dust—metallic symbols of value that could appear in your life as you inhabit right consciousness. The Almighty becomes your defense; delight in God equals trust; your prayers and vows become inner decrees that draw forth light along your path. When you decree a thing, it is established; light shines upon your ways. When others are cast down, you declare lifting up; your state delivers the innocent by the pureness of your hands—the acts of right inner state manifesting in outer life.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and enter the inner Presence of the I AM. Silently declare, 'I acquaint myself with the I AM; I am at peace; the Almighty defends me; I decree light and blessing.' Then feel the truth as already real in your life.
