Your inner scene is the theater where Job’s trial unfolds. \"Though he slay me\" is the most violent suggestion of death in consciousness—the belief that a power outside your self can erase your life or fortune. Yet the following line sharpens the blade of awareness: \"yet will I trust in him.\" This trust is not a pious resignation but a deliberate choice of awareness, a decision to dwell in the I AM as your permanent ground. In this sense, God is not a distant judge but the continuous knowing, I AM, that animates every image you entertain. The outer storm cannot alter this single fact: you are the one who commands the stage of consciousness, and your command is faith formed as feeling. When you feel your core as safe, guided, and loved by an inner order that governs all events, fear loosens its grip. The last clause, \"but I will maintain mine own ways before him,\" asks you to preserve your inner posture—your declared truth—while appearances fluctuate. To trust is to keep witnessing from the vantage of the I AM, regardless of circumstance, and to let the world reflect that unwavering certainty.
