Inner Majesty Over Fear

Job 13:11 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Job 13 in context

Scripture Focus

11Shall not his excellency make you afraid? and his dread fall upon you?
Job 13:11

Biblical Context

The verse questions whether a higher majesty can induce fear, pointing to fear as an inner condition rather than an external fact about you.

Neville's Inner Vision

Shall not his excellency make you afraid? and his dread fall upon you? In Neville’s sense, this is not about a distant ruler but about the state you inhabit. The so-called 'excellency' is the image you hold of yourself as small or at the mercy of circumstances. The power you fear is a projection of your present consciousness, not an outside decree. The I AM within you is the true king, the awareness that sustains all happenings as you. When you fear the grandeur of that imagined authority, you reveal a separation from your own sovereign nature. To reclaim mastery, you must revise your inner state: affirm that the I AM is governing this scene and that all majesty resides there. By dwelling in that inner kingship, the appearance of dread dissolves, and events align with the conviction of your original, unlimited awareness.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume the feeling of the I AM sovereign over this scene; declare internally, 'I AM the governor here.'
