Scripture Focus

13And these things hast thou hid in thine heart: I know that this is with thee.
Job 10:13

Biblical Context

The verse points to hidden things in the heart, known to the speaker, revealing inner motives or dispositions that accompany a person.

Neville's Inner Vision

In this line from Job, the 'things' are not external facts but states of consciousness lodged in the heart. You are told that these hidden contents are with you, and the I AM—your awareness—knows them intimately. See that the 'hiding' is your avoidance, a reluctance to admit a belief or motive. When you assume that you are the I AM, you can revise those inner states by treating them as already transformed. You imagine the end of whatever is kept secretly within, the effect of the inner disposition dissolving, replaced by truth of obedience, discernment, humility, and faithfulness. Imagination becomes your instrument, not a judgment: you declare inwardly, 'I now release this old belief; I choose a higher state of awareness.' The verse invites humility and fidelity, but in Neville's method you do not condemn the old self; you gently revise it into alignment with divine order. The inner life is the only world you inhabit; change the inner state, and the outer life follows with grace.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, feel the I AM within, and revise the hidden belief by declaring, 'This is dissolved; I am now in a new state,' then sink into the felt sense of that new state as real.
