Jeremiah 9:9

Biblical Context

Jeremiah 9:9 presents a divine question about visitation and vengeance tied to collective conduct. It frames judgment as accountability within consciousness.

Neville's Inner Vision

Beloved, the Lord in Jeremiah is the I AM within you, asking whether the state you now hold will not visit itself with its own effects. The 'nation' speaks to your habitual thoughts and feelings; 'these things' are the inner movements you have entertained as real. When you cling to beliefs of separation or justice as a separate power, you invite an inner visitation—conditions that prove the reality of that belief. The I AM does not threaten you; it reveals the precise quality your present state will produce in your world. To reinterpret, recognize that every outward event is a signal of your inner state; by changing your assumption, you disarm the need for vengeance. The moment you refuse to identify with the old state and instead affirm the opposite, you awaken a new inner order. Your consciousness is the ruler; the events you see are its echoes. Be still, assume the wish fulfilled, and know that the justice you seek is the harmony of your inner state with wholeness.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and declare: I AM the judge and governor of my world; my present state is already right order. Drop into the feeling of that fulfilled state for a minute, as if it is real now.
