Speaking Truth to Self

Jeremiah 7:27 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Jeremiah 7 in context

Scripture Focus

27Therefore thou shalt speak all these words unto them; but they will not hearken to thee: thou shalt also call unto them; but they will not answer thee.
Jeremiah 7:27

Biblical Context

The verse says you should speak all these words to them, but they will not listen or answer. It hints that hearing truth begins with an inner state that can be changed from within.

Neville's Inner Vision

In truth, the you who speaks is your I AM, and the 'they' who won't listen are the parts of you that resist truth. When you utter words, you are addressing your own consciousness; the act of speaking is a discipline of inner attention. The moment you assume the voice of a listening Self, you revise the meaning of 'not hearken' by shifting your state. What you call prophecy is simply the practice of holding a mental state until it feels true in you. Persist in imagining that the inner hearing is already active, that an Answer resides in awareness, and let that imagined receptivity replace doubt. The outer silence is only a screen for an inner belief that you must persuade others. You are not turning others toward truth; you are awakening your own I AM to respond. So you speak, you listen inwardly, and you align with the reality you intend by feeling it real now.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Sit quietly and assume you are already heard by your inner I AM; picture a simple dialogue where your words are answered. Feel the reply as real in the present and carry that vibration into your day.
