Biblical Context
Jeremiah is removed from the prison and placed under protection, eventually living among the people under Gedaliah. The guards’ care signals a favorable outcome despite surrounding danger.
Neville's Inner Vision
From the inner vantage, the outer guards are not men but the states of consciousness—Jeremiah is your I AM, the quiet witness whom Nebuzaradan protects. The message is that no harm can touch your awareness when you declare, with the authority of imagination, that he shall do unto you only as you command. The transport to Gedaliah and dwelling among the people is the inner relocation of belief from punishment to purpose; you bring your vision home, into how you live and act among friends, neighbors, and daily tasks. The deliverance you seek is already seated in your own imaginative act. When you entertain the scenario that you are cared for, your inner guard aligns to ensure only your stated demand is honored. So the practice is to assume Jeremiah’s safety as your own, and to revise any fear by letting the I AM speak through you, feeling it real in chest and nerves.
Practice This Now
Assume the feeling of Jeremiah’s safety now: 'I am protected by the I AM; only my word is done.' See yourself being led by an unseen guard to dwell where your true work unfolds among the people.
