Inner Regathering of the Soul
Jeremiah 32:36-37 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Jeremiah 32 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
God promises to gather the exiled people from all lands back to this place. He will cause them to dwell safely.
Neville's Inner Vision
I read this passage as a portrait of your inner estate. The city is the center of your awareness, and exile is the mind scattered by fear, memory, and lack. When the LORD declares He will gather them from all countries and bring them back to this place, He is naming the movement of your I AM, the self that never left you, drawing every fragment home. The anger, famine, and pestilence are not hostile powers out there; they are visions born of a mind asleep to its unity. In truth you are not at the mercy of circumstance: you are the home to which every part of you returns, and you dwell safely because the I AM dwells within. By assuming the feeling of that gathering—accepting, here and now, that all parts are present and safe—you activate the exodus from confusion to clarity. Revision replaces history; faith in the present I AM replaces fear of loss. The promise becomes life when you inhabit the inner place where you are already gathered.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and, in imagination, see every part of you returning to a single, safe center. Silently repeat, 'I am gathered; I dwell safely,' until it feels real.
