Inner Covenant Zion Alignment
Jeremiah 3:14-17 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Jeremiah 3 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
God calls backsliding Israel to turn back, promising intimate union: 'for I am married unto you.' He will bring them to Zion with pastors who feed knowledge and understanding; in that future, external symbols fade and Jerusalem becomes the throne of the Lord, with nations drawn to the name of the Lord.
Neville's Inner Vision
Beloved, this is not distant history but a revelation of your own consciousness. The backsliding state is a moment of imagination; the words 'I am married unto you' declare your inseparable union with God, here and now. Zion is the inner throne of your awareness, where the I AM sits enthroned. The ark and outward ritual symbolize external forms that fade when you trust the inner presence of God within. The pastors after mine heart are the inner faculties—wisdom, discernment, love—that feed you with knowledge and understanding. When you are multiplied and increased in the land, you are expanding your inner kingdom, attracting more harmonious thoughts and feelings that reflect abundance. Then the time comes when the external ark is no longer remembered; you no longer walk by sight of temples, but by the living presence within. Jerusalem becomes the throne of the LORD in you, and nations gather to the name of the Lord within. The restoration is inward, a change of state in consciousness, here and now.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and imagine you are already in Zion, with the I AM enthroned within you. Revise any sense of separation by declaring, 'I am married unto you,' and feel the inner pastors feeding you wisdom as your new reality.
