Read Jeremiah 27 in context

Scripture Focus

21Yea, thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, concerning the vessels that remain in the house of the LORD, and in the house of the king of Judah and of Jerusalem;
22They shall be carried to Babylon, and there shall they be until the day that I visit them, saith the LORD; then will I bring them up, and restore them to this place.
Jeremiah 27:21-22

Biblical Context

The verse speaks of vessels remaining in the LORD's house and being carried to Babylon until the LORD visits them, then returning them to their place.

Neville's Inner Vision

All through Jeremiah, the vessels are not metal and wood but inner faculties and beliefs housed within the temple of your consciousness. When they are carried to Babylon, they are carried into the world of appearances—fear, time, longing, and doubt—that seem to separate you from your rightful center. This dispersion is not punishment but a deliberate schooling of the mind, a temporary exile so you learn the feel of separation. The timeless truth remains: the LORD of hosts—the I AM within you—will visit these dispersed vessels. This visitation is not external conquest but a vivid act of awareness, a sudden recognition that these vessels are still you, that their restoration is your own restoration to a single, sovereign place in consciousness. When you allow the mind's eye to rest on the conviction, 'I am the Lord visiting my vessels and restoring them now,' the scattered pieces return to their proper order and the temple is made whole again.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, breathe, and assume the feeling of the I AM visiting your inner vessels. Say softly: I am the Lord visiting these vessels and restoring them to their place now.
