Jeremiah 23:4 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Jeremiah 23 in context

Scripture Focus

4And I will set up shepherds over them which shall feed them: and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall they be lacking, saith the LORD.
Jeremiah 23:4

Biblical Context

God promises to set up shepherds who feed the people. Through this inner provisioning, fear, dismay, and lack are removed.

Neville's Inner Vision

See the shepherds as inner states of consciousness, not external persons. When you assume the I AM as the feeding Presence, you are nourished by endless supply, guidance, and protection. Fear dissolves because you recognize you are under benevolent care of your own awareness, the God within. The shepherds feed you with insight, gratitude, and trust, so dismay loses its grip and lack becomes a memory. This is not history but your present alignment: the inner administration that ministers to every need. The promise implies that you do not have to seek from without; you rest in the I AM that provides, guards, and directs. As you dwell there, your future unfolds in gentleness and unity, and the community of your life reflects harmony rather than scarcity. Practice your presence now by dwelling in that feeding presence and observing fear and want recede as your consciousness expands into wholeness.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Close your eyes, assume the feeding presence of the inner shepherds, and feel as if you are nourished, protected, and provided for. Repeat, 'I am fed, I am guided, I fear no lack' until that sensation is real in your heart.
