Covenant Presence Within

Jeremiah 14:21 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Jeremiah 14 in context

Scripture Focus

21Do not abhor us, for thy name's sake, do not disgrace the throne of thy glory: remember, break not thy covenant with us.
Jeremiah 14:21

Biblical Context

Jeremiah pleads that God not abhor the people or disgrace His throne. He asks God to remember and keep the covenant.

Neville's Inner Vision

Notice that the verse speaks not to a distant monarch, but to the I AM within you—the present moment awareness that holds all covenant as inner law. 'Do not abhor us' becomes: do not reject the state of consciousness that you are now. 'For thy name's sake, do not disgrace the throne of thy glory' translates to: keep your inner throne pure with faith in your own divine image, for name equals your conscious identity, and throne of glory is the mind's ruling state. 'Remember, break not thy covenant with us' becomes: recall the unbreakable agreement between your feeling and your reality; refuse to break faith with the inner vision that you are loved, supported, and sustained by God within you. The covenant is not a contract of the past but a living assumption: you are the I AM affirming your wholeness, presence, and mercy. When fear arises, continue to return to the consciousness of being already cared for, already protected, already led. This is the psychology of faith in action.

Practice This Now

Assume the state: I am one with the I AM; feel it-real that the covenant is kept now. Repeat the affirmation until the sense of separation dissolves and God's presence becomes your immediate atmosphere.
