Jeremiah 12:1 Inner Justice Now

Jeremiah 12:1 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Jeremiah 12 in context

Scripture Focus

1Righteous art thou, O LORD, when I plead with thee: yet let me talk with thee of thy judgments: Wherefore doth the way of the wicked prosper? wherefore are all they happy that deal very treacherously?
Jeremiah 12:1

Biblical Context

Righteous are you, O LORD, when I plead with you; I ask about your judgments and wonder why the wicked prosper and why they are happy despite treachery.

Neville's Inner Vision

To the ear that pleads with the Lord, I say: The righteousness you praise is not a verdict upon others but a state of consciousness you hold. When you ask why the way of the wicked prospers, you are gazing at a mirror of your own inner beliefs. The prosperity of the wicked is a projection of fear and separation, a sign that awareness has wandered from the I AM. The remedy is not condemnation but alignment: return to the realization that God is the I AM within, and that judgments are inner laws you can revise. As you dwell in that truth, the sense of injustice dissolves and a current of order flows through your life. Your attention determines the soil in which events take root; by choosing the inner judgment that right order now governs all, you invite outward scenes to reflect inner harmony. So I speak with the divine not to obtain mercy but to awaken it within, and as I do, what seemed to be the problem becomes an invitation to a higher state of consciousness.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume the inner state as already true: I AM the justice and abundance of God. Then speak to the inner Lord, show me your judgments, and rest in the feeling that the outer world is an echo of your inner state.
