Jeremiah 1:7 Inner Calling
Jeremiah 1:7 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Jeremiah 1 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
God tells Jeremiah not to demean himself as a child, but to answer the inner call and go wherever commanded. He is to speak only what the divine I AM commands.
Neville's Inner Vision
Your inner Lord speaks in the first person: not a child, but the I AM that is awake within you. When Jeremiah hears, 'Say not, I am a child,' the command is a correction of self-conception. You are not defined by your present state; you are defined by the calling that your inner sight reveals. 'Go to all that I shall send thee' means follow the impulse that arises from I AM, not the habit of doubt. 'Whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak' is the assurance that the voice within is the true authority, and your world will answer accordingly when you speak from that level. So practice sees the self as already sent, already speaking truth, regardless of age or circumstance. Use your imagination to feel the command now and act as though you are already present where you are sent. The transformation is not changing God but changing your identification from limitation to fulfillment. In short, treat yourself as the instrument of the divine command, and your life will align with that decree.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, place a hand on your chest, and declare, 'I am sent; I speak what the I AM commands.' Then imagine yourself in the moment you are called to speak, feeling the authority already yours.
