Inner Waiting for Blessing

Isaiah 64:4-5 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Isaiah 64 in context

Scripture Focus

4For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him.
5Thou meetest him that rejoiceth and worketh righteousness, those that remember thee in thy ways: behold, thou art wroth; for we have sinned: in those is continuance, and we shall be saved.
Isaiah 64:4-5

Biblical Context

God's unseen plans are prepared for those who wait; He meets those who rejoice and do righteousness, and salvation follows despite our sins.

Neville's Inner Vision

Consider that the verse speaks not of distant facts but of your inner state. What is unseen and unheard on the outer screen is already prepared by the I AM within you, awaiting your attention. When you meet life with a rejoicing heart and you choose to do righteousness, you align with the inner discipline of awareness. Sin is seen as a signal, not guilt, urging you to revise the state you inhabit. God, your I AM, meets you where you truly are, in the act of remembering Him in your ways. The wrath spoken of is the old tension between the old you and the new you becoming; in those moments, hold fast to the vision of the fulfilled state. The words continuance and salvation point to a steady cultivation of a new atmosphere of consciousness. Do not search outside; rest in the awareness that you are that which waits, that which is blessed by your own I AM. In this, what is prepared becomes your living reality.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume the state of the fulfilled wait: you are rejoicing, doing righteousness, and being met by God in the now. Feel the warmth of that meeting in your chest and let it revise your sense of the day.
