Presence That Remakes Mountains

Isaiah 64:3 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Isaiah 64 in context

Scripture Focus

3When thou didst terrible things which we looked not for, thou camest down, the mountains flowed down at thy presence.
Isaiah 64:3

Biblical Context

The verse recalls God coming in terrible power, causing the mountains to flow when His presence is felt.

Neville's Inner Vision

Think of the terrible things as inner convulsions of the mind, not external storms. When you affirm the I AM as your ongoing awareness here and now, God does not arrive as a separate power; you become the presence that descends. Then the mountains flowing down are the dismantling of fixed beliefs, fears, and identities that have stood as stones in your inner landscape. The appearance of power is you waking to your own unity with divine consciousness. The shift happens when you hold the state of being that you are the life and light you seek, and the world rearranges to match your inner posture. What you once called great tyranny or danger dissolves because the sun of awareness is turned on within you. This is not a narrative of conquest but a realization: the motion outside is simply the movement of your own consciousness aligning with its source. In that alignment, you see the mountains yield and the terror recede.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Sit in stillness and assume the I AM here now; feel the presence so fully that fear dissolves. Then revise any sense of lack by declaring, 'From this presence, mountains move.'
