Mountains Flow at Presence
Isaiah 64:1-3 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Isaiah 64 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Isaiah envisions God’s coming as a decisive inward event. When presence arrives, the inner mountains yield and purification follows, revealing truth.
Neville's Inner Vision
Notice that heaven and mountains in this vision are not distant landscapes but states of consciousness you inhabit. When you imagine the Lord coming down as the I AM in you, the rigid mountains of fear and limitation begin to yield, flowing down as if moved by your attention. The melting fire you read of is the fire of conviction that dissolves hesitation and makes emotion obedient to purpose; it boils the waters of feeling into a purified stream that serves your stated end. To have thy name known to adversaries is to see your inner critics and old habits named and perceived as nothing within the light of your awakened I AM. The nations trembling before thy presence becomes the effect of your certainty radiating through every relation and situation. The invitation is simple: dwell in the assumption of the presence now, feel it as your own; and watch as the external world rearranges to reflect the truth you have claimed. The whole scene invites a holy seclusion—separate from doubt—until your inner reality becomes outward fact.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and stand in the I AM; affirm, "I am that I am," and feel the mountains of limitation dissolving as they flow before your presence.
