Zion’s Inner Light Practice
Isaiah 62:1-4 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Isaiah 62 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Zion’s restoration is proclaimed; righteousness shines forth and salvation burns as a lamp. The outer world reflects your inner alignment with God.
Neville's Inner Vision
Beloved, Zion stands within as your center of awareness. The words 'I will not rest' mean your I AM will not rest until your righteousness appears as brightness in your life. When you imagine, you are not conjuring a distant plan but waking to your true nature. The lamp of salvation is your clarified thought, a flame that burns away doubt and limitation. The Gentiles and kings are not external powers; they are the reflections in the world of your inner alignment. When you feel this truth, you will hear a new name spoken by the mouth of the Lord—an authentic self-identity that the ego cannot name but God does. You become a crown of glory in the hand of the Lord, a Beulah, Hephzibah state in which delight and unity with God are your daily experience. Hold this image; dwell in it; let the feeling of being married to divine life permeate every thought. Your present consciousness is the city; your fidelity to this inner state will birth the outer restoration you seek.
Practice This Now
Imaginative Act: Assume the state now—'I am righteousness shining as brightness, salvation burning within.' Feel it real and hold the vision until it dresses your outer life in light.
