Eyes Lifted, Souls Gather

Isaiah 60:4 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Isaiah 60 in context

Scripture Focus

4Lift up thine eyes round about, and see: all they gather themselves together, they come to thee: thy sons shall come from far, and thy daughters shall be nursed at thy side.
Isaiah 60:4

Biblical Context

Isaiah 60:4 invites you to lift your eyes and notice a gathering: distant ones come near, and your sons and daughters are cared for beside you.

Neville's Inner Vision

Observe that 'they gather themselves together' is not a geographical event but your own inner states gathering around the I AM that you are. The scattered themes of your life—past fears, forgotten desires, half-beliefs—are drawn into the center by your living conviction. 'Thy sons shall come from far' signals the parts of you that walked away or seemed distant, returning to alignment: the drive and the tenderness, the action and the care, now answering to your present assumption. 'Thy daughters shall be nursed at thy side' speaks of nourishment and harmony you provide from the center of consciousness, where the Presence of God, your I AM, nurses every facet of your being. This is the inner politics of the kingdom: you are the governor who calls the gathering and the law by which it happens. Do not seek outward signs; rather, assume the end and feel it real until your inner weather changes and the world follows. Your life rearranges itself to fit the state you inhabit.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: In a quiet moment, assume the end—your exiles returning and your family gathered at your side. Feel that presence as real and sustain the feeling as you say, I AM.
