Gates Open: Inner Kingdom Realized

Isaiah 60:10-14 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Isaiah 60 in context

Scripture Focus

10And the sons of strangers shall build up thy walls, and their kings shall minister unto thee: for in my wrath I smote thee, but in my favour have I had mercy on thee.
11Therefore thy gates shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day nor night; that men may bring unto thee the forces of the Gentiles, and that their kings may be brought.
12For the nation and kingdom that will not serve thee shall perish; yea, those nations shall be utterly wasted.
13The glory of Lebanon shall come unto thee, the fir tree, the pine tree, and the box together, to beautify the place of my sanctuary; and I will make the place of my feet glorious.
14The sons also of them that afflicted thee shall come bending unto thee; and all they that despised thee shall bow themselves down at the soles of thy feet; and they shall call thee, The city of the LORD, The Zion of the Holy One of Israel.
Isaiah 60:10-14

Biblical Context

Isaiah 60:10-14 is about the inner revival of your life: mercy reopens your inner walls, gates stay open for continual supply, and those who once opposed you bow to your awakened state.

Neville's Inner Vision

In me the verses reveal an inner economy. The 'sons of strangers' and their kings are the stray thoughts and energies within my mind, invited to build when mercy and the I AM govern. Wrath becomes disciplined, guiding attention back to my divine nature; favor is the memory that I am always in the presence of God. My gates stay open day and night, welcoming the forces of the Gentiles—supply, opportunity, and cooperation—into the sanctuary of consciousness. Nations that refuse service fade from perception; those that serve appear as harmonious currents in my life. The glory of Lebanon, the fir, pine, and box, signifies the beauty and sanctity resting in my inner temple, while the feet I stand upon are the assured presence of God. The afflicted bow to the mercy I emanate; I am called The city of the LORD, The Zion of the Holy One in my own awareness. This inner revolution happens by claiming the truth of I AM and feeling it real, here and now.

Practice This Now

Imaginative Act: Sit quietly, place a hand on your heart, and declare, 'I AM the city of the LORD; my gates are opened continually.' Feel the supply and harmony entering your sanctuary as you embody Zion within.
