Inner Word Awakens Renewal

Isaiah 55:10-13 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Isaiah 55 in context

Scripture Focus

10For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:
11So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
12For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.
13Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the LORD for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.
Isaiah 55:10-13

Biblical Context

Isaiah 55:10-13 describes God's word as rain that waters the earth, bringing forth life; it will not return void but fulfills its purpose, leading to joy and peace for the obedient.

Neville's Inner Vision

Beloved, the rain is your inner state. The Word is not a distant text but the I AM speaking in you. When you assume the feeling that your life is watered by that Word—that it has already accomplished its purpose in your world—the law goes forth from your mouth and returns not void. It pours into your day, clothed in joy and peace; mountains break forth in song, trees clap in your imagination, and the thorny places yield to the fir and myrtle in harmony with God’s design. You are both sower and seed, creator and created, and as you dwell in that awareness, your outer life becomes a sign of the everlasting covenant that cannot be cut off. The inner renewal manifests as a visible order: nourishment replacing barrenness, delight replacing struggle, and a quiet assurance that the Word is delivering what it promised in you.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and silently declare, 'I am the word going forth from the I AM in me; my inner rain waters my life and brings forth fruit.' Then feel the shift as joy and peace arise.
