Inner Restoration in Isaiah 52:9-10
Isaiah 52:9-10 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Isaiah 52 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Jerusalem’s waste places are made alive with joy as God comforts and redeems. The Lord reveals his salvation broadly, made visible to every nation.
Neville's Inner Vision
Think of Isaiah as a map of your inner life. The waste places of Jerusalem are the parts of you that have forgotten your true nature; when the Lord comforts his people and redeems, he does so by awakening you to your own I AM. The holy arm is not a distant gesture but your own imaginal power—your capacity to roll away doubt and clothe your consciousness in the splendor of truth. When you see all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of your God, you are being invited to realize that salvation is the inherent state of awareness, not a future event. As you hold the feeling of being comforted and redeemed—in the present sense you live in—your outer circumstances begin to harmonize as signs of an inner law at work. The nations witnessing become a reflection of your inner alignment, a world rearranged by the mind you inhabit. Restoration, in this light, is the continual revision of your present awareness until it feels inevitable.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, enter the feeling that you are comforted and redeemed, and declare 'I am restored' until that sense saturates your being, then move forward as though salvation is already yours.
