Inner Redemption Awakening
Isaiah 52:3-6 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Isaiah 52 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The verses claim that people have sold themselves for nothing and will be redeemed without money; they will come to know the Lord's name and realize the I AM speaking within them.
Neville's Inner Vision
Consider the verse as a description of your own inner state. 'Ye have sold yourselves for nought' points to the moment you believed you were separate from the One, trading your magnificence for a counterfeit sense of existence. 'Redeemed without money' declares that no coin is required; redemption is a shift in consciousness, a realization of the I AM as the sole Power present. 'My people went down aforetime into Egypt' symbolizes the old trance of bondage in the subconscious, while 'the Assyrian oppressed them without cause' marks those fear-thoughts that arise when you forget your true nature. Yet the promise stands: they shall know my name; they shall know in that day that I am he that doth speak, behold, it is I. In your experience, that day is now when you identify with the speaker within—the questioner, the I AM, the voice that never left you. The outer events rearrange only as your inner state aligns with the awareness of God speaking as you. Redemption is therefore a present-tensed realization, not a future transaction.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume the state of the speaker within; declare softly, 'I am He that speaks.' Hold that sense until your ordinary self yields to the I AM and life reflects that truth.
