Be still and listen to the inner scene of Isaiah 52:13-15. The 'servant' is not a distant man but the I AM in you, the settled principle of consciousness that prospers under pressure. 'Prudence' of action becomes the discipline of imagination: when you refuse to identify with limitation, you rise in inner altitude and are 'exalted, and extolled, and very high' in the mind which knows itself. The bruised countenance of the old self is merely the appearance of the form breaking under the light of a higher idea; the sense of separation dissolves as you hold the new picture steady. Then the line 'he shall sprinkle many nations' becomes your influence—your steady conviction touches every corner of life, and those who were silent before are moved by your certainty. Fears, judgments, and the "kings" of circumstance bow when a new state is seen from within. What had not been told you becomes seen because you are no longer in the thrall of external sees; you are the cause, and reality responds to your inner decree.
