Inner Light of Isaiah 49:6

Isaiah 49:6 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Isaiah 49 in context

Scripture Focus

6And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth.
Isaiah 49:6

Biblical Context

Isaiah 49:6 presents a dual mission: the servant restores Israel and is made a light to the Gentiles, offering salvation to the ends of the earth.

Neville's Inner Vision

Here the scripture invites you to see that the 'servant' is not a distant political figure but your own I AM, the waking consciousness that serves the whole of you. The 'tribes of Jacob' and the 'preserved of Israel' are the inner tribes—conflicted, disparate states of feeling within you. To raise them up is to harmonize your inner life, to re-inhabit every part with the awareness of I AM. When God says, 'I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles,' He speaks to your capacity to illuminate what was once dark—those Gentile regions of unconscious habit, fear, or limitation. Your light broadcasts not to a distant nation but to the ends of your earth, your entire experience; salvation here is inner reconciliation, not mere external rescue. You do not seek to change others; you become the consciousness that fulfills this prophecy by imagining you are the light and the healings begin in your own awareness. The world then reflects that inner state back to you.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume you are the light to all beings. Revise your self-concept to 'I AM the salvation unto the ends of the earth' and feel the healing radiate outward from your heart into your daily life.
