Glorified Servant Within

Isaiah 49:3 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Isaiah 49 in context

Scripture Focus

3And said unto me, Thou art my servant, O Israel, in whom I will be glorified.
Isaiah 49:3

Biblical Context

It presents a personal call: you are the servant through whom God will be glorified, here and now. The inner self is seen as the locus of vocation and glory realized through present consciousness.

Neville's Inner Vision

Isaiah 49:3 sounds as a personal summons to your inner self: Thou art my servant, O Israel, in whom I will be glorified. In the Neville Goddard sense, Israel is your inner state of consciousness, the gathering of attention and feeling through which the I AM, God within, expresses itself as glory. Your identity here is not a distant future but a present alignment of mind. When you acknowledge the I AM speaking within, you enter a state in which every demand to be useful and faithful already exists. The servant who is to be glorified is the one who believes that this inner choice is made for you, and that it becomes your outward sense of vocation. The practice is to revise any sense of limitation by assuming you are already glorified, that your work and devotion flow from the I AM now. As you hold that living truth, the outer events synchronize with the inner movement, and glory manifests as your daily life.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, place your hand on your chest, and say: I am the servant of the I AM, and God is glorified in me. Feel this as your present reality for a full minute.
