Inner Deliverance Unveiled
Isaiah 49:25-26 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The Lord declares inner deliverance: even the strongest inner captivities will be undone, and the oppressive forces within you will be confronted and transformed by the I AM that saves.
Neville's Inner Vision
To Isaiah’s words, hear them as speaking to your inner scene. The captives are the states you accept as permanent—fear, habit, doubt—while the mighty are the drifting thoughts that seem to command your day. When the Lord says He will contend with him that contends with thee, He is inviting your I AM, your present awareness, to engage the inner contention and refuse to yield to it. This is not a battle in the outer world, but a reorientation of consciousness: the contending Presence stands with you, and the sense of limitation loses its grip as you insist on your true sovereignty. The line about feeding the oppressor with its own flesh becomes the inward turning of energy back upon itself—recognizing that the source of oppression is energy denied, then released through awareness. All flesh shall know that the LORD is thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob, when you awaken to the truth that you are the living expression of that I AM. Your entire being—body, mind, and spirit—responds as one to this revelation of freedom.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and rest in the I AM presence. Assume the feeling of being free now, and declare softly: I am the captor’s conqueror; I am thy Saviour within. Watch the inner scene settle as the oppressive energy returns to its source and dissolves.
