Read Isaiah 48 in context

Scripture Focus

14All ye, assemble yourselves, and hear; which among them hath declared these things? The LORD hath loved him: he will do his pleasure on Babylon, and his arm shall be on the Chaldeans.
15I, even I, have spoken; yea, I have called him: I have brought him, and he shall make his way prosperous.
Isaiah 48:14-15

Biblical Context

God declares and brings prosperity to the inner state that will carry out His pleasure on the 'Babylon' of limitation. The verse invites an inner shift from limitation to alignment within consciousness.

Neville's Inner Vision

These verses speak to the state you inhabit, not to a distant nation. In Neville's sense, 'Babylon' and 'Chaldeans' are your stubborn habits and fears. The Lord's love for 'him' is the favor of your I AM toward a particular inner movement—an intention and discipline that will do the divine pleasure on the illusion of separation. When you hear 'I, even I, have spoken,' think: it is your own inner I AM giving an order to the self you identify with. He has called this state into being and will make its way prosperous, which means the circumstances you experience are the outer proof of an inner alignment. The decree is not about conquest of others but the alignment of your inner will with the creative power of awareness. If you feel contrast or judgment arise—assume that the inner decree is complete now, revise the story, and feel the success already accomplished in your chest, as if your next breath confirms it.

Practice This Now

Imaginative_act: Sit quietly, picture the I AM as a warm light around your chest, and declare, 'I am prosperous now.' Then revise any limiting thought and feel that wealth of awareness as real.
