I AM in Isaiah 48
Isaiah 48:12-16 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Isaiah 48 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
God declares He is the First and the Last, and that His hand laid the foundations of the earth and spanned the heavens. He calls Jacob and Israel, speaks openly, and promises prosperity to those He loves, sent by His Spirit.
Neville's Inner Vision
Understand that the speaker is your I AM, your unalterable sense of I. When the text proclaims I am He, the first and last, it is not history but the claim that your consciousness is that order. The hand that laid the earth and the right hand that stretched the heavens are metaphors for the fixed acts of awareness by which you establish form in your life. When you are told to listen and assemble, you are being invited to quiet the outward chatter and attend to the inner decree that your world is being drawn into alignment by your inner authority. The 'envoy' who will make the way prosperous is the inner faculty of discernment and faith, the Spirit sent into your experience to shift circumstances. Remember: there has never been secret speaking; the truth is always present as you. Allow the Lord GOD and His Spirit to send you as the one who speaks and acts in your life, and watch prosperity and order unfold from within.
Practice This Now
Sit quietly, rest in the I AM within, and revise aloud, 'I am He; I am the first and last, and my way is prosperous.' Feel the truth as a lived inner sensation until the scene in your outer life confirms it.
