The 'darkness' is not punishment but the contrast that reveals the necessity and value of what you call light. 'I make peace, and create evil' indicates that harmony and apparent conflict arise from the same source—the drama of your inner state ready for revision. When you hear 'the LORD do all these things,' hear it as your own higher I AM acting through you, shaping every sensation, circumstance, and perception to fulfill a meaning in your life. Providence is your inner guidance, not a distant decree. Order arises as you align your thoughts with the truth that you are the author of your inner weather; you translate impressions into experience by the quality of your belief.
